FIRST ARENA ~ ELMIRA JACKALS

Located in Downtown Elmira, the First Arena has set the trend in multi-purpose facilities for Elmira and its surrounding communities. The facility features two ice surfaces (Both are NHL regulation size), a full service restaurant and bar, a food service center for the recreational rink, video game arcade, 31 luxury suites, party/group outing facilities, and meeting/community rooms among other amenities. The First Arena is the new concept in multi-purpose recreation facilities resulting in a magnificent community service complex that can meet the needs of a variety of community groups.

The First Arena is also home to the Elmira Jackals, a professional hockey team in the ECHL, the nation's premier "AA" hockey league. The Jackals will be competing in their ninth season of operation, beginning in October 2008. In the previous eight seasons, the Jackals have provided residents of the Twin Tiers top-notch family affordable entertainment.

Along with the Jackals, The First Arena presents the best in entertainment for all, including the Harlem Globetrotters, Larry The Cable Guy, Professional Wrestling, Champions on Ice, Wine Festivals, family shows such as The Doodlebops and Dora The Explorer, and many trade shows. The First Arena is the place to be!

From Binghamton

Route 17 West/I-86 west to Exit 56
Follow Exit 56 to Church St.
Take a Left onto Church St.
Follow Church St. through several lights to Main Street
Turn Left onto Main St.
Go up one block on Main street, the First Arena is on your right

From Ithaca (Syracuse)

Take Route 13 South to Route 17 East /I-86
Take Exit 56 to Church St
Turn Right onto Church Street
Follow Church Street through several lights to Main Street
Turn left onto Main Street
Go up one block on Main Street, the First Arena is on your right

From Watkins Glen (Rochester)

Take Route 14 South to downtown Elmira (on the Clemens Center Pkwy)
Pass the Steele Memorial Library and turn right at the next light onto Gray St.
Follow Gray Street one block through Main Street.
The First Arena will be on your left.

From Mansfield (PA)

Take Route 14 North into Downtown Elmira (on the Clemens Center Pkwy)
Go over the Chemung River and past the Chemung Canal Trust
Bldg on Water St
Turn left at the next light onto Gray Street.
Follow Gray Street one block through Main Street.
The First Arena will be on your left.

FIRST ARENA TO HOST THE DUELING PIANOS

First Arena will host the Dueling Pianos in a night of comedy, sing-along, and dancing on Saturday, September 18 from 8-11 p.m. The event is presented by the Crew at A.S.U., Appliance Services Unlimited, and Salsaritas.

FIRST ARENA PARTNERS WITH V/GLADIEUX ENTERPRISES, INC.

First Arena announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with V/Gladieux Enterprises Inc., a Toledo, Ohio-based company with a long, rich history of providing quality food service operations.
