Our History
Built in 2000, the First Arena is a state-of-the-art facility located in the heart of downtown Elmira, New York. Besides being the home of the United Hockey League's Elmira Jackals, the First Arena has been the venue for many different events. Here are some of the events that has taken place in the facility:

LARRY THE CABLE GUY ADDS SECOND SHOW!!! | | | First Arena proudly announces that due to popular demand, Larry the Cable Guy has added a second show in Elmira, NY, on Wednesday, May 7, at 7:30 p.m. The second show was scheduled as a result of unprecedented demand for tickets for his April 18 appearance, which sold out within twenty-four hours of tickets going on sale last Friday. Tickets for the second show will go on sale Friday, March 14th at 10:00 am.

| TWIN TIERS FANS GIT-R-DONE; LARRY THE CABLE GUY SOLD OUT | | | First Arena proudly announces that the April 18th appearance by Larry the Cable Guy in Elmira is sold out. Setting an arena record for the quickest sellout, tickets went on sale Friday, March 8, at 10 a.m. and were gone within twenty-four hours. Seating capacity is listed at 4,900 seats for this concert in-the-round configuration (stage in the center of the seating area).
