HOCKEY CAMPS - SUMMER 2008

ELMIRA JACKALS 2008 SUMMER HOCKEY CAMP

August 4th ~ 8th

And/or

August 25th ~ 29th

Week long camp for differrent skill sets.  All Youth ages and advanced level.

 

Areas of Focus includes:

Skating, Puck Control, Shooting & Scoring Techniques, Passing & Receiving, Team Conceptss, Checking and Power Skating.

Camp sessions are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm which include four hours on ice and four hours off ice training and conditioning.

All campers must bring full hockey equipment (REQUIREMENT), and proper attire for off-ice activities (shorts/sweats, t-shirt, gym shoes).

Shower facilities are available and concessions available for snacks and lunches at a nominal fee.

Cost: $229.00 0r $399.00 for both weeks (All ages).  Registration and payment MUST BE RECEIVED IN FULL BY AUGUST 1st, 2008 and space is limited!

RECREATION RINK CLOSED DUE TO MAINTAINANCE
The First Arena would like to announce that the Recreation Rink will be shut down from July 1st until July 23rd for general maintainance. Regular activities will resume on Thursday, July 24th.
SUPER PET EXPO APPEARS AT FIRST ARENA
The First Arena is pleased to announce that the 2008 Super Pet Expo will be held at First Arena on Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28th.
2ND ANNUAL ARTS & CRAFTS ON ICE SET FOR OCTOBER 18TH & 19TH, 2008
The First Arena in Elmira, NY has set the date for their 2nd Annual Arts & Crafts On Ice event which will be held in October, 2008.
JUELZ SANTANA HEADLINES JULY 25th
First Arena proudly announces that Juelz Santana, one of the founding members of The Diplomats (aka Dipset), will be the headline performer in a hip hop concert event on Friday, July 25th, beginning at 8 p.m. at First Arena in downtown Elmira. Also appearing will be Taj Mahal & The Senate along with Elmira’s own Capion. The event will be hosted by Jo Jo Torres, the founder of the original Rock Steady Crew.

THE BACKYARDIGANS LIVE! COMES TO ELMIRA
ELMIRA, NY – First Arena, in conjunction with Nickelodeon and AWA Touring Services, proudly announces that The Backyardigans Live! The Tale of the Mighty Knights! will be appearing at First Arena for two shows only Thursday, June 19th, at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
